ORILUM: A Kinetic Origami-Based System for Gesture-Driven Long-Distance Communication

Project Overview: ORILUM is a cutting-edge telepresence tool that combines kinetic origami with capacitive threads, LEDs, and motors to create a responsive 3D communication device. It bridges physical and digital communication, providing an interactive, tactile way for people to connect remotely.

My Role: I was solely responsible for the design and development of ORILUM, from conceptualizing the initial idea to implementing the final product. I crafted the origami structure, designed all the electronics including the PCB, and integrated interactive technologies.
